You always have a plan B, C, and D in case of bad weather when you photograph an outdoor wedding. And for this wedding, Wanda and I got to plan O for Oh Shoot!
Rain clouds were slowly gathering over this amazing location the whole day. Right after the first prayer of the ceremony, thunder roared and lighting struck a short distance away.
Rain started pouring in during the ring ceremony, but Meredith, Mikey, and their guest stayed in good spirits. Wanda and I did our best to keep our cameras/lens dry and tried to take advantage of the gorgeous lighting that only comes after a storm.
Shortly after the ceremony, the rain stopped, and then started again in the midst of family portraits. The rain was just messing with us now, so we just used the huge live oaks as shelter and kept going.
Thank you Meredith and Mikey for rolling with the punches and not letting the rain ruin your wedding day! You two rock :)
