A Charleston Wedding and Reception Venue

From their website:

The Historic Rice Mill Building is Charlestons most spectacular waterfront venue featuring versatile indoor and outdoor event space. Located at 17 Lockwood Drive in the City Marina Complex, the Rice Mill offers unparalleled sunset views over the Ashley River. The buildings history is as colorful as the view. Built in 1861 and on the National Register of Historic Places, its the only of Charlestons three antebellum rice mills that still stands. It has also served as a seaplane terminal and a Navy minesweeper base. While the inside of the building has been extensively remodeled, the exterior hasnt changed much over the years.

The ground floor event space is perfectly appointed for a variety of events. Classic design features include exposed brick, wide plank wood floors, large double windows and pressed tin ceilings. The beautiful mahogany and marble bar is well suited for dancing and live music with an adjoining covered porch.
