Wanda Cavazos

The day I got married I was getting ready with my groom. Before we left our motel room, we made a promise. No matter what, we would stay married. We would do anything it took. We meant it. We were 17, and that was almost 30 years ago. Since then we’ve had 4 daughters, traveled the world, seen over 120 concerts, lost friends, survived sickness, gained family, and grown up. It’s been good times and bad times, but our love is our rock. As long as we have each other, we know we can make it.

Your lives, will take unexpected turns, some that are great and some that are NOT. That’s a big reason wedding photos are important to me. These photos are some of the happiest moments of your life, saying “I do”, dancing with your dad, getting dressed with your girls and Mom helping you get dressed. I want you to love these photos when you look back at them. They should look natural, not awkward or too posed. You should be loving the moment, and loving each other, not worring about where to stand. I got you! And when it comes time to get photos of the two of you, I want you to enjoy those moments together, not feel like you are enduring a photography marathon.

It’s your wedding day, enjoy it!
